Collegelands is a 6.81 hectare site immediately to the east of Glasgow city centre. Only 10 minutes walk from Queen Street railway station it is situated at the corner of High Street and Duke Street. <\/p>\n

Phase 1 of the development was commenced by Dawn Group in January 2010 and will be complete in autumn 2011. It comprises:<\/p>\n

Offices – 9,000 sq m pre-let to Glasgow City Council
Student Residencies – 588 beds to be operated by Watkin Jones
Multi Storey Car Park – 1,170 spaces to be run by City Parking<\/p>\n

With outline planning consent granted for over
100,000 sq m of space subsequent phases will include:<\/p>\n<\/td>\n

Offices – an additional 40,000 sq m of space
Residential – up to 440 dwellings

Retail – up to 4,000 sq m of retail, restaurant and café space<\/p>\n

With this diverse mix of uses Collegelands is seen as a natural extension of the Merchant City, one of Glasgow’s most cosmopolitan areas.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
